The day dawned crisp and clear. My family and I were bursting with excitement as it was Chinese New Year! We set off by car in high spirits.

When we arrived at Grandma’s house, we greeted our relatives with oranges and received many ang baos. After a few hours, we headed to my great grandmother’s house.

At my great grandma’s house, I started playing with my older brother. Soon, I was starving as hunger pangs gripped me. I devoured a plate of curry bee hoon.

After eating, I watched some videos on daddy’s phone. At eight p.m., I was exhausted. I rubbed my bleary eyes and we headed home. It was indeed a wonderful day for everyone.

Bun’s Academy

The Bun's Approach: Structure meets Creativity

Our classes balance creativity with structure. We teach students to memorise useful phrases and frameworks while helping them maintain their unique voice. Over time, even students who struggled to write a paragraph gain confidence and start enjoying the process.

We focus on:

✔️ Clear, adaptable story structures

✔️ Vivid vocabulary and descriptive phrases

✔️ Repeated practice with constructive feedback

As PSLE nears, creative writing should not be an afterthought. In fact, it could very well be the secret ingredient that helps your child excel.

Give your child a confident start to writing.
